Chesterton Radio began with a fairly simple idea: there ought to be a place where great stories, old radio, literature, faith, humor, music, and the remarkable imagination of G. K. Chesterton could all live together.
That idea has grown.
Today we’re publishing new programs and features throughout the week. We’re producing original stories. We’re reading Chesterton again. We’re exploring forgotten radio and literature. And the Open Door is broadcasting around the clock.
We want to do more.
But Chesterton Radio isn’t a large media company. There isn’t a corporate owner behind it, and there isn’t a large advertising operation paying the bills.
It exists because people listen — and because some of those listeners decide it’s worth supporting.
If you listen for free, please keep listening.
Seriously.
Much of Chesterton Radio will remain open to everyone. Share something you enjoy with a friend. Send us a note. Join the conversation. Tune in to the Open Door.
All of that helps.
If you’d like to support Chesterton Radio
A regular paid subscription is $8 a month or $80 a year. It gives you access to subscriber posts and the full archive while directly supporting the work.
And we’ve now created another option.
Become a Chesterton Radio Patron
For listeners who want to do more than subscribe, Chesterton Radio Patron membership begins at a suggested $240 per year — $20 a month.
Patrons help make possible the original programs, stories, recordings, essays, and experiments that are gradually turning Chesterton Radio into something much larger than a collection of old broadcasts.
There aren’t a lot of fancy premiums attached.
That’s rather the point.
You’re helping keep Chesterton Radio on the air.
What are we trying to build?
Something increasingly rare.
A place for good stories.
A place where the past isn’t treated as something embarrassing to be discarded.
A place for laughter, mystery, poetry, radio drama, great books, serious ideas, and the occasional glorious piece of nonsense.
A place where Chesterton would feel at home.
And, above all, an open door.
If that sounds worth keeping open, we’d be grateful to have your support.
Become a subscriber. Become a Patron. Or simply tell someone else about Chesterton Radio.
However, you participate, thank you for listening.
