Then Ryan notices the ON AIR light.
And suddenly yesterday’s question becomes considerably more interesting:
Who’s listening?
Maybe nobody.
Maybe somebody.
The Station keeper offers no reassurance.
Just two words:
“It works.”
Perhaps that’s the thing about microphones—and about putting anything into the world. You don’t always know who is on the other end.
