Polish culture. A lecture. Romeo & Juliet. An open mic. Papers. A visitation.
College can feel like one long list of things to attend, deadlines to meet, and places you’re supposed to be.
But somewhere in the middle of all that, there are also beauty, truth, friendship, memory—and people who matter.
Maybe that’s what college is really for.
ROOK is a daily original college newspaper comic about friendship, faith, growing up, and the odd little places where life becomes meaningful. Set in and around Benedictine College and Atchison, ROOK finds the humor and humanity in ordinary student life.
The strip is built around recurring characters, real places, and the small moments that gradually become important.
A new ROOK strip appears every day at noon CST.
